Our coaches are wonderful role models who are here to guide our participants in taking risks and opening up to new experiences that will inevitably help each person to blossom.

Jessi Nicholson

Jessi Nicholson is a vocalist, songwriter, vocal coach, actor, dancer and certified teacher.  She holds a Bachelor or Music Education (voice) with a minor in Physical Education (dance).  She has facilitated classes, workshop, camps and private lessons throughout Western Canada and contributed to many programs including UBC's "Take To The Stage Musical Theatre Summer Camp" where she developed the curriculum and established professional development for teachers hired for the camp. 

Other organizations have included Arts Umbrella, Uncle Randy Productions, Gateway Theatre, Youth Association of Watson Lake, Saskatchewan Express Musical Theatre Studio, Sarah McLachlan School of Music, Stage Craft Theatre School, Canada Ice Dance Theatre and many more.  She is the Vocal Tech Director with Sisters of Soul Productions and  Owner/Administrator of Light The Stage Community Arts & Education.


Ryan Caron

Ryan Michael Caron is a stage director, dancer, and educator. He specializes in physical theatre, devising, and Japanese classical dance and movement. Ryan also performs and teaches short-form improv with Synaptic Chaos Theatre throughout western Canada. With a background in psychology and mental health care, Ryan's philosophy is that arts are inherently therapeutic, encouraging wellness and self-expression. His works regularly include an emphasis on empowering underrepresented voices and perspectives.

Maggie Blue

Maggie Blue O’Hara is a lover of life, Reiki practitioner, singer/songwriter, actress, sensual clown, dancer, writer/director and facilitator of transformational workshops. For 10 years she was artistic director of a multimedia theatre company in Hong Kong until moving back to Vancouver in 2015.

Maggie Blue has studied yoga, meditation, light work, kundalini dance, arts therapy, sacred ceremony and tantra for over 20 years. She became a mama in 2010 and a certified kid’s yoga teacher in 2011. Her great loves include her family, ecstatic dance, making music, holistic health, travel, community of warm happy people and living close to nature. In 2013-2014 she was the voice and movement teach at The International Academy of Film and TV in Hong Kong and in 2015 she was the voice and movement teacher at Vancouver Academy of Dramatic Arts.

Maggie Blue has performed and taught in British Columbia, LA, Hong Kong, Mainland China, Taiwan, Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Bali, the UK, Australia and New Zealand. In summer 2015, she taught ecstatic dance and intimacy workshops at Heart of Tantra and Blessed Coast festivals (both in Squamish, BC) and taught her Star babies Yoga class at The Field Gathering music festival in Winlaw, BC.

Maggie continues to study and expand her knowledge of performance and alternative healing modalities and enjoys sharing her skills with others.

Maggie Blue is currently a private acting coach, acting teacher for kids and focusing on her band, www.lovedrunk.ca
